Springfield model 1889 ramrod bayonet model trapdoor rifle serial #516751, Refer Flayderman 9A-387. The rifle remains in original very good condition showing 60-80% original blue starting to drift and age naturally with some light erosion and pinprick pitting and drifting to a brown patina. Breech block shows traces of case hardening, markings are sharp. Stocks are very good plus showing a good 1891 cartouche, “P” proof behind trigger guard, and just a couple of dents behind cleaning rod channel, no losses. The stock is painted with arsenal type numbers “8A” over “48”. The markings are sharp, the action is good, the bore is excellent. From the Bernard Braverman collection. Est: $750 - $1,500
