Springfield model 1795 type-3, .69 caliber flintlock musket, dated 1813 with bayonet and sling. The musket remains in original good to very good condition showing a light grey to brown patina finish, some scatterederosion and pinprick pitting. The lock markings are good, just slightly light. Shows good eagle, “V” and “P” at breech. The musket is in its original flintlock state with correct hammer, top-jaw, small parts.The stock is stamped GNH on right side of wrist, just below comb. The buttstock is carved “JB”, probably a soldier’s initials. The sling is correct type, bayonet matching in condition, as is the ramrod. A nice 1795with scarce bayonet and sling. Est: $2,000 - $4,000
