Springfield Model 1903 USMC Sniper rifle, .30-06 cal, serial #1526133, with 8 power J. Unertl scope, marked USM sniper, numbered 1692. Barrel Springfield Armory marked and dated 9/38 with large 5-point star on barrelbetween bands, signifying assembly at Philadelphia Naval Yard by U.S.M.C. armorers. The entire rifle is National Match configuration with polished nickel steel bolt and rails, oversized USMC style front sight; SA over SPG cartouche on left side of stock, P proof on inside of pistol grip, grooved steel butt plate, 1944 dated Boyt sling. This rifle was acquired by our consigner many years ago from the estate of a collector who obtained it from a U.S.M.C. Reserve Unit in Pennsylvania that was deactivated in the early 1960s, when their Rifle Team inventory offered it for sale. The rifle is in fine to near excellent condition with nearly all ofits arsenal finish, just some slight surface rust on the trigger guard that may clean, some minor scratches. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
