Frontier sporterized with pewter forend cap, shows inspections marks including ESA cartouche to stock, side plate marked US Springfield 1863, top of breech block marked 1870 over US. The barrel a silver patinastarting to drift to brown, breech block with good blue, lock plate shows deep blue/brown and trigger guard a bright silver. Rear sight is a replacement, original butt plate intact. Excellent action and very good bore. Of the type picturedwith General Custer and Czar Alexander during their hunt. No FFL required.
