Springfield Model 1855 pistol carbine 58 caliber, 12” barrel with original detachable shoulder stock, refer Flayderman’s 6A-051. The gun remains in good original condition showing a gray patina finish, scattered light to moderate erosion and pinprick pitting, some slightly heavier pitting on the hammer and tape primmer door. The eagle marking is good, U.S., Springfield, and 1855 all legible (lock needs cleaning). The barrel shows VPand eagle proof. The stock shows a brake near the butt cap along with light refinishing and repair. The butt stock shows a large area of fill and refinishing and is marked G and number 5. The original rod,sling swivels and small parts are retained. Would improve with careful restoration. Fair only. Est.; $1,500-$3,000.

Buyer pays actual costs of packing, materials, shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
