This is an example of a rifle available through the DCM between 1924 and 1928. Lyman globe front sight and ladder rear sight without the 2,850 yard notch. Mounted on the right rear of the receiver is a Lyman fully adjustable rear peep sight. The muzzle is marked with a star and is marked "S A/flaming bomb/4-23" behind the front sight. The receiver has the standard markings. The bright polished bolt is numbered to another gun and is marked "NS" on the base of the bolt knob. Mounted on a smooth walnut pistol grip stock with sling swivels, "circled P" proof on the front of the wrist and a checkered steel cupped buttplate. With a black leather claw sling.

Condition: Very fine as professionally refurbished, 99% of the blue finish remains with some high edge wear. 98% of the parkerized finish remains with some high edge wear and some scratches on the floor plate. The stock is also very fine with some scattered minor scratches. Mechanically excellent.
