<p>Bolaffi is very pleased to announce its auction of a very fine Movie and Vintage Posters selection, on the 3rd of June at its headquarters in Turin, Italy.
<p>During the two sessions more than 900 posters will be sold. Tourism, fashion, motors and sport will be prevalent among the featured themes also for relevance of material. Cinzano, Omega, Fernet-Branca, and Michelin are the brands of some of the most notable items featured in the sale, as well as a terrific selection of Cappiello’s posters.
<p>Beautiful Grado, Cervia, Monaco ,Gstaad and Lakes of Garda images are reproduced in the delicate tourism posters dedicated to these very prominent vacation resorts. Besides, an interesting chapter for Italian art exhibitions shows wonderful posters by artists like Carpanetto, Mazza and Hohenstein.
<p>A strong Cinema section, includes among the other titles the Italian editions of Walt Disney’s
“Bambi” and “Biancaneve e i sette nani”, Fellini’s “La dolce vita” two different posters of Hitchcock’s Notorius and “La seconda Signora Carroll” with Humphrey Bogart.
<p>Last but not least, an almost complete collection of American Propaganda posters are offered to those buyers who wish to acquire a unique masterpiece of American history.
