<B>The Spirit (weekly newspaper insert) 1942 Complete Year Group (Baltimore Sun, 1942) Condition: Average VF+.</B></I> For once, we're going to mention something other than Spirit in these descriptions -- namely, Lady Luck! The March 15, 1942 Section provided the first in a series of LL tales drawn by Klaus Nordling, and they are terrific! As far as our main hero goes, 1942 was the year Eisner entered the military, which meant he had to enlist the talented Quality staffers to help out on the Spirit, including Lou Fine. Not a bad back-up plan! This batch of sections features a few lightly stained copies, but overall are a pretty nice-looking collection.
