Spider Baby (American General Pictures, Inc.,1968). Lobby Card Set of 8 (11" X 14"). Jack Hill’s delightfully bad 1968 black-and-white thriller is a ‘psycho family’ horror film, sort of a precursor to "The Hills Have Eyes" and "Texas Chainsaw Massacre." Lon Chaney stars, in one of his last roles, as a servant/chauffeur caring for three adult siblings who have reverted to a murderous infantilism. The arrival of several guests creates crisis and corpses. Director Hill was the writer and director of projects such as "Wasp Woman" (1960), and "Foxy Brown" (1974). Posters for this title are some of the most difficult to find. This lobby set is the only one we have ever seen. The set has some light edge wear, slight wrinkling on a couple of cards and were rolled at one time. Overall, the set is in terrific shape. Very Fine.
