Spencer new model 1867 military issue musket, .52 caliber rimfire, 6-groove rifling, 30" barrel, stabler cut off, #101306. The barrel shows a black Japan-type enamel finish of which 80% remains. The frame shows 50-70% case hardening juststarting to drift and tone. The stocks are good to very good and show a ECW cartouche on the left buttstock. Forend shows some minor compressions, a slight crack, some slight dings, mars, scratches, etc. Action shows fiery case hardening, bore isnear excellent, original band, magazine tube, and small parts are retained.
