Spencer Civil War era Model 1860 repeating carbine, .52RF cal., 22” barrel, wood stocks, #54928. This gun is in overall fair to good condition showing a dark patina over scattered areas of erosion and pitting, goodaction, dark bore, wood has been lightly sanded and re-finished showing scattered old mars and scratches from carry and storage; the most desirable of the Spencer carbines with less than 50,000 manufactured between1863 and 1865.
