<B>Spectacular Woman Suffrage Party Pennant</B></I> This 34” x 12” felt pennant is about as large a suffrage pennant as you will find. In addition to the standard plea for “Votes for Women,” it also features the famous clarion statue of a suffragist calling out to her sisters. The colors of yellow and purple are unusual for the Woman Suffrage Party. The founder of the Party, Carrie Chapman Catt, wanted to disassociate her group from the militant National Woman’s Party of Alice Paul that she at one time banned the color purple, associated with Paul’s group, from one of her parades.
