The top of the barrel extension is dated 1916 and the top of the toggle is marked "DWM". The right side of the barrel extension has three crown/script proofs along with an Imperial eagle proof. Barrel has the bore marking and an Imperial eagle proof. Properly marked safety position and extractor. Full serial number with "o" suffix on the barrel and frame and matching serial number without suffix on the barrel extension. Matching partial serial number (51) on the takedown latch, side plate, sear, safety bar, thumb safety, extractor, toggle, and toggle link. Straw colored small parts, checkered grips, and re-numbered nickel wood base magazine matched to gun serial number. Complete with a brown leather holster, takedown tool, and mismatched extra magazine. The inside of the flap is marked "HANS ROMER / 1916 / NEU-ULM".

Condition: Excellent. The pistol retains 95% original blue finish with some wear mostly on the side plate, receiver, and at the muzzle. The small parts retain 70% original straw color. The grips are very fine with some scattered minor nicks in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The holster is fine with most of the exterior brown finish remaining, some minor flex wear, and some scuffs, with some missing stitching.
