Manufactured in 1910. Complete with a Lyman ivory beaded blade front sight, single folding leaf Lyman rear sight and tang peep sight. The top of the barrel has the two line address/patent dates marking ahead of the rear sight with a wide band of floral engraving and a 2 1/2" wedge of engraved scrollwork at the breech. Extensive scroll engraving on the receiver which extends to the safety, magazine, trigger guard, and tangs. The receiver also has game scenes engraved on the sides (two deer on the left, a bear and a stag on the right) and the head of a wolf on top. Nicely figured checkered walnut forearm and round knob pistol grip stock with a "REMINGTON ARMS" embossed hard rubber buttplate and a monogrammed buttstock initial plate.

Condition: Excellent. The rifle retains 98% plus original blue finish with some fading to plum. The wood is also excellent with some minor dings and long scratches. There are some scattered minor nicks in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
