A Most wonderful PAIR of Antique Japanese Imari Vases, Circa 1870, Painted in true typical Imari colors of Rust, Iron-Red, Cobalt Blue and accented with subtle touches of Celadon Green, overlaid with Wonderful Gilt Accents, all on a Pure White Porcelain Body, In 1900 to 1915, these wonderful Vases found their way to France, where they were given their Glorious Louis XV style mounts. Deeply carved and cast, having the apperance of fine jewelery. A very similar pair can be found in the Napoleon III apartments in the Louvre Museum of Paris, France. No chips, cracks, or repairs of any kind.
