Special order model 1894 Winchester rifle, .30-30 caliber, 26" octagon barrel, full magazine, takedown frame, factory checkered deluxe pistol grip stock, crescent butt, Lyman tang sight. Nicely after market engraved in factory #1 stylepattern. Serial #63477. The rifle retains 70-80% original blue on barrel, evenly drifting and toning. The magazine tube shows 30-40% original blue. The frame, hammer, and lever show nicely restored blue finish, and are well engraved in anicely simulated factory pattern, probably pulled from the finely finished arms catalog. The forend cap has also been refinished at time of embellishment. The takedown collar has drifted to grey metal. The stocks have been lightlyrefreshed, checkering enhanced, and the wood to metal fit is very good. The markings are sharp, action is good, bore very good. A nice looking '94 created for a collector who could not budget a quarter-million plus for an original #1 patternengraved and gold-inlayed. Est: $7,500 - $15,000
