This rifle is a reproduction of the Sharps 1874 single shot rifle manufactured by the Shiloh Rifle Co. in Big Timber, Montana. The top of the barrel ahead of the rear sight is marked "Shiloh - Sharps Model 1874" and "CALIBRE 45" 2 4/10 at the breech. The left side of the receiver is marked "SHILOH RIFLE MFG. CO. / BIG TIMBER, MONTANA". German silver blade front sight and folding combination buck horn and ladder rear sight graduated to 800 yards. Blue barrel, with casehardened receiver, lever, patch box and buttplate, niter blue screw heads, adjustable double set triggers and mounted with extra fancy select walnut forearm with a polished pewter forend and straight grip stock with a carbine style steel buttplate. Complete in a beautiful custom oak case with brass hardware and steel carrying handle on each end. The case is very well made and is equipped with brackets to securely hold the rifle in place, and a covered compartment with a screw down lid.

Condition: Excellent plus. With the exception of a few scratches on the forend cap, the rifle retains 99.9% original blue finish with only a very tiny ding on the barrel and 100% of the original case colors. The wood is as new. The case excellent.
