Fine. The barrel and magazine tube have traces of original blue with the balance a smooth mottled brown patina with some light spotting on the barrel. The receiver retains 70% original case colors with a smooth mottled gray patina on the balance. The lever has a smooth mottled brown patina with traces of original faded case colors in protected areas. Most of the original faded case colors remain on the hammer. The buttplate has a mottled gray and dark patina with some minor oxidation. The wood is also very good with scattered minor dings, dents and scratches. There is a crude "?M" scratched into the bottom of the grip. The sling swivel is rusted. The markings are clear. The action is fine.
