Spearpoint Bowie knife marked Nappan Brothers with their hallmark, "The Hunters Companion" stamped near top edge of blade, with "Cutlery Works Sheffield" on reverse of ricasso; with nicely made frontier leatherscabbard with large loop for attachment to belt. The knife measures 12-1/8" overall with 7-1/2" blade, slightly over an inch wide at widest point and constructed of thick steel. The blade shows some of its originalpolish, some slight sharpening, minor erosion, good markings, very good stag horn grip; scabbard very good+ with 3-1/2" loop on back. The leather scabbard is very good, shows some light tooling, beautiful scenesand is the type made in the west during the period. Est.: $600-$1,200

We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
