Spear point Bowie knife marked “Henry C. Booth, Norfork Works, Sheffield” circa 1840s to 1860s with unusual fancy German silver grip and hilt showing brass and pewter inlays into gutta percha or similar material. The blade shows somescattered light to slightly heavy pitting and erosion and some original polish on the blade. The marking is legible and the blade is made from thick stock and shows a high quality grind and reinforced point. A German silver mounted scabbard which may be the original is included and is missing its hanger. The knife measures 12” overall with an 8” blade. Est.: $1500-$3000
