Spanish style Miquelet pistol circa late 19th to early 20th century unmarked, approximately .72 caliber bore. Measuring 13 ¼”overall with 7” round barrel, brass mounts with traces of brass wire inlay in thebarrel. The stock is rather plain and the pistol is unmarked but has a colonial look and this pistol was found in the San Juan Capistrano mission area according to note in the bore. The metal surfaces show a graybrown patina with some light to slightly heavy pitting and the mounts are un-cleaned. The stock was refinished long ago. Est.: $400- $800.
