Spanish Miquelet flintlock fowler circa late 18th or early 19th century; 48-1/4” overall with a 34” barrel, of approx. 12 gauge smoothbore, the barrel is nicely silver inlaid at the breech and shows a maker’scartouche with a five-pointed crown, the letters “EUQ, CA, Jor IP”; there is a marking stamped just behind the trigger guard in the stock which may be a collection ID but not quite visible; the gun shows iron mountings,lightly engraved lock, wood is good with small losses at the top edge, some chips and breaks along the edge of the fore end; the butt stock portion is in the Catalan style; generally good overall; some light rust anderosion; there is a marking at the left rear breech “AP” with a small proof. We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
