Inlaid gold blade front sight, surrounded by gold inlaid accents on the barrel, which has an engraved and gold filled floral band dividing the round and octagon sections, followed by inlaid floral scroll designs, "FABRICADO EN EIBAR./ JUAN FRANCISCO DE YRUSTA./ ANO DE 1816." on the flats, a series of six golden proof stamps at the breech, and a gold border ahead of the full coverage tang and breech engraving. Scroll and floral decorated lockplate, with "Francesco Nuti/ Cortona" below the bolster, a man's head engraved on the hammer screw, and a dog head engraved hammer. Scroll design reverse plate, with an inlaid silver border wire, and a floral and scroll engraved triggerguard. Half length stock, with iron headed ramrod, engraved gold and silver ramrod pipes, a horn tip with silver band, engraved silver wedge escutcheons, feathered carving ahead of the lock, checkered forearm and wrist with silver wire and star inlays, gold "TB" monogram on top of the wrist, a mans head on the underside of the grip, raised cheekpiece with floral carving and an engraved silver capped horn buttplate with additional silver band.

Condition: Fine, with a mixed brown and gray patina, bright edge wear and some pitting around the nipple and muzzle. Silver parts are bright, with a darker patina visible in the lower engraved areas, and the gold is strong and finely detailed. Stock is very good, with a small chip next to the hammer, light scratching on the butt, and mild pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
