Who doesn't love outer space? This lot is full of vintage and present day information about the life outside our world. First, is a comic book by Gilbert toys titled: Science Leads the Way. The comic book is an advertisement for a Gilbert's Science Set, by encouraging youths to venture outside the relam of everyday life and into the field of science. The comic book is in good condition with cover wear and minor rips. Next are six 11x14" photos of the Apollo XII lunar orbit/landing. Several of the photos are of the moon's surface and equipment used to excavate speciments from the moon. All of the photos are in good condition with some creases and folds on the corners. There are two SkyWatch magazines; one is from 2002 and the other is from 2004. The magazines give an in-depth look of our nights sky; entailing several articles, depicting conutless photos, and explaining where and how to find certain constellations during a given month. Next are two posters, one is a 17 x 18 1/2" photo of an astronaut in outerspace and the other is a 21 x 48" poster of Skylab which was the first American orbiting space station. Both are in excellent condition. The last two items are a Press Kit for the 1984 Challenger for a Canadian team and a souvenir photo of a spaceship. The Press Kit was a folder that contained information about the 1984 Challenger mission that was given out to the media. The souvenir photo has a brief history of the first 17 Apollo missions on the back. The Press kit is in it's original packaging and in mint condition. The souvenir photo is good condition with surface wear. This incredible lot will send any space nut straight to the moon!
