Space-made experimental polystyrene balls, made aboard STS-6 in 1983, and housed in a 1.5? long vial. The vial contains the beads in a solution made in space aboard the Challenger. Accompanied by a printed National Bureau of Standards Certificate, stating at the top, “The polystyrene beads incorporated in our souvenir vial came from the SRM (Standard Reference Material) 1960 cited in this copy.”
