Absolutely unique freeze-dried ‘space food’ created for use during the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo missions. This particular example, a “Strawberry Cereal Cube,” measures about .75 x .75 x .75 and rests within a clear plastic 2 x 2 x 1.25 cube marked “Space Food,” as well as the product and missions for which it was produced. This particular exemplar was designed to be eaten without any preparation.
