<B>Challenger STS-6 Flown Crew Patch Authenticated by STS-6 Commander Paul Weitz</B></I>. Handsome display piece features the embroidered six-sided Challenger STS-6 patch affixed to a matte board which also includes color photographs of the Challenger liftoff and landing, as well as commander Paul Weitz's inscription and signature, which reads: "<I>Paul Weitz Commander, STS-6 This is from my personal collection.</B></I>" Double matted to an overall size of 11 x 14" and ready for framing and display, the piece is accompanied by a handwritten letter of authenticity by Weitz, on his personal letterhead. In full: "<I>I hereby certify that the mission patch presented with this letter was flown aboard the Space Shuttle Challenger on STS-6, its maiden voyage, April 4-9, 1983. It has been in my possession ever since, and is from my personal collection of artifacts. Paul Weitz, STS-6 Commander</B></I>."
