Sozan Ito (1906-1926) - Red and Blue MaGaws. This item is framed under glass in a painted wood framed and measures at 9 ¼” by 18 ½”. This item is advertised unframed on the internet for $1400. Sozan Ito was active from 1909 to 1926 while working for the publisher Watanabe. His style is based on traditional Japanese woodblock printing, while his content centers almost exclusively on the delicate study of birds and flowers. FINE CONDITION
