A vintage Soviet tin mechanical toy from the Igrotechnika factory in Leningrad, titled "Skoryi Poezd" (translation: Express Train). The colorful lithographed tinplate design features a bright orange bridge, circular tracks, and a wind-up train operated by the included metal key. The original box is present with printed instructions in Russian advising to turn the key clockwise only and not to overwind the spring. This toy reflects the USSR focus on progress and technology, with trains symbolizing speed and modernity. Rarely found complete with both box and key, this example is a desirable collectible of mid-20th century Soviet memorabilia.
