For your consideration is this Southern Plains Indians parfleche bow, circa 1900. The bow shows a wonderful hand crafted design with a parfleche wrapped shaft secured with a sinew sewn seam. The bow shows a fantastic polychrome painted face with geometric patterns painted in brown, red, and black ochre. The bow shows two turkey feathers painted black and two blue glass trade beads attached. The condition of this bow is good and well preserved, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this parfleche bow are 42" x 1 1/2" x 1 1/2".
