Southeast Asian/Montagnard curved blade short sword with wood scabbard, approx. 22” overall with a 15-1/2” blade and a carved buffalo horn finger groove grip. The blade shows old sharpening and a brown patina, the grips are worn with scatteredscratches and mars from carry and storage; the scabbard is in overall good condition. From the collection of a retired Marine Corp. officer who indicated this weapon was used in 1968 against the Viet Cong near the Mekong river near theCambodian border. Est.: $150-$300.
