South Eastern & Chatham Railway Walkers one-wire, two-position signalbox block instrument displaying a wooden miniature signal, with finial, and block indicators. In good original condition. Together with its separate commutator switch box incorporating a commutator with a circular brass aperture-surround engraved "Down Line" and a porcelain tipped plunger. Instruments of this type were first introduced in 1855.
