South Eastern & Chatham Railway Sykes 2-position lock and block signalbox block instrument enamel-plated "SNOWDOWN". A brass 'cow' bell on the back. It displays a miniature brass signal post with finial and two Home signal arms. Good condition. Opened as "Snowdown Halt", the station was renamed "Snowdown And Nonington Halt"; then "Snowdown And Nonington" in 1969; "Snowdown" in 1980.
