Far from the bustling wine producing and agri-business mecca of today, the Sonoma of 1912 was a sleepy agricultural community that served as the county seat of a sparsely populated county of fewer than 50,000 people. This was the town's only National Bank, and it lasted for just over ten years before closing its doors forever in January of 1923.
