Bogarde’s screen-worn coat from the 1960 film Song Without End: The Story of Franz Liszt, starring Bogarde and Capucine. Dark blue wool period double-breasted tailcoat has a Western Costume Co. label sewn into the collar with Bogarde’s name typed on the second line. Worn in several scenes of the film. Costume design by Jean Louis. Accompanied by a color Columbia Pictures promotional photo for the film showing Bogarde in the jacket, an original lobby card showing him in the jacket as well, and a copy of the film. Several small holes to outer material and a couple small spots, otherwise fine condition.
