This fuze was entirely made of brass. Purely percussion-type and without delay. The fuze was designed for the high explosive ('Gr' = Granate - Obus explosif) or gaz heavy shells of the 15cm sFH, 15cm sFH02, 15cm sFH13 et 15cm sFH13/L17 heavy field howitzers, 21cm Br Mrs. (bronze), 21cm Mrs. (M1902), 21cm Mrs. (M1910) and 21cm lg.Mrs. (1916) mortars.
