Official Brazilian National Football Team jersey worn by attacking midfielder Ronaldinho during a group match against Greece in the 2005 FIFA Confederations Cup. The Nike jersey, size large, features numbers and name to front and back, the CBF logo to chest, and a FIFA Confederations Cup patch to right shoulder. In fine condition, with expected wear from use. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Alexandre Silva da Silveira, a coordinator for the Brazil National Soccer Team, who affirms that the medal derives from his personal collection. Brazil defeated Greece 3-0 in a group stage match on June 16, 2005, at the Zentralstadion in Leipzig, Germany. Despite losing to Mexico 1-0 three days later, and then tying Japan 2-2 on the 22nd, Brazil played their best soccer in the semi-finals, edging Germany 3-2, before trouncing Argentina in the finals with a score of 4-1. It was Brazil's second win at the Confederations Cup. The recipient of two FIFA World Player of the Year awards and a Ballon d'Or, Ronaldinho is widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers of all time.
