Important Disney original art work from this 1937 animation classic, consisting of 5 incredible original layout art story boards for "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs',each 7.5" x31" long. These are quite rare to find complete. The original story board drawings are done in graphite and depict some of the most pivotal and memorable scenes in this animated classic. One panel showing the Witch with the poison apple, represents one of the most iconic scenes in the movie, as well as Snow Whites first meeting with the seven dwarfs. What makes this set especially exciting is the fact that Snow white is featured in all 5 story boards. The drawings are carried out by some of Disney's most talented animation artist which can be seen by the execution of the drawings. These story boards where used for the finalization of the scenes and dialogue used in the final animation. You can even see where corrections where made to the drawings with the use of red. Condition in all 5 are quite good some minor toning and edge chipping, and a few very small tears on edges not affecting any of the drawings. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is a 1937 American animated feature based on the fairy tale of the same name by the Brothers Grimm. It was the first full-length cel-animated feature in motion picture history, as well as the first animated feature film produced in America, the first produced in full color, the first to be produced by Walt Disney, and the first to be considered a Walt Disney Animated Classic[3]. Snow White was one of only two animated films to rank in the American Film Institute's list of the 100 greatest American films of all time in 1997 (the other being Disney's Fantasia), ranking number 49. It achieved a higher ranking (#34) in the list's 2007 update, this time being the only traditionally animated film on the list. The following year AFI would name the film as the greatest animated film of all time. In 1989, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was added to the United States National Film Registry as being deemed "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant."
