By the end of 1972 the <B>Print Mint</B></I> took over as publisher, after that the books were printed at a commercial printing plant. Prior to this the books were printed on a small press and assembled by hand. The final step was to stack the books in a paper cutter and slice about a quarter of an inch off the top. When the books reached the retailer it was common to mark them up over the cover price of 50 cents. This copy was never trimmed, never stickered, never circulated. It's no wonder that this is the highest graded copy by CGC! <I>From the collection of Apex owner Don Donahue</B></I> <B>Estimate: $500-up</B> </FONT></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><BR><!--<a name="PricesRealized"></a> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" bgcolor="#000000"> <tr> <td width="100%"> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="3"> <tr> <td width="100%" bgcolor="#79735C"> <a name="PR"> <font face="arial" size="3" color="#FFFFFF"> <b>Previous Prices from Heritage Auctions</b> </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#F6F6ED"> No Prior Data Recorded </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <font face="arial" size="1""> PLEASE NOTE: All prices realized reflect the final hammer price PLUS the buyer's premium in auctions that charge a buyer's premium. On occasion eBay live bid software cannot keep up with the pace of the auctions where 4-5 lots per minute can hammer down, so we recommend that you place a realistic absentee bid now as insurance to avoid disappointment.
