Major League pitcher (1889–1985). Vintage glossy 10 x 8 photo of Wood on the mound for the Boston Red Sox, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To ‘Jimmy’ With all good wishes from Joe Wood.” In fine condition, with three dings to the bottom border. He is one of only 13 pitchers who won 30 or more games in one season (34-5 in 1912) since 1900.
