Smith and Wesson Hand Ejector Model of 1917, .45 ACP caliber, Serial #210167. The pistol is in near excellent overall condition in its original maroon Colt box. The pistol has a 5 ½” barrel. The pistol retainsapproximately 98% of its blue finish with only light storage marks and a faint drag line noted. The pistol features beautiful, vivid case colors on the hammer and trigger. The checkered wood medallion Magna grips are in very good condition showing only light handling marks and a lanyard ring on the base. The consignor notes that the pistol was part of a group of 991 such pistol which were post-war clean up manufactured. Thebore is very good, the action crisp and markings are sharp. The pistol includes a Smith and Wesson factory letter confirming all features and indicating shipment to Freemore Co., Minneapolis, MN., on June 27,1946.
