Smith & Wesson model 1891 single-action .38 S&W caliber 5-shot revolver, factory 3-1/4” barrel, nickel finish, hard-rubber grips, serial #8088. Along with extra .22 caliber single-shot 8” barrel, also nickel platedwith extension target grips. Factory letter states “Shipped August 22nd 1893 to H. P. Devier & Co. Address unknown. Verifies 3-1/2” barrel, extra .22 single-shot target barrel, 8”, nickel finish, standard stocks, andextra pair of black hard-rubber extension stocks. Lot includes a collection of medals belonging to H. Scholefield, by collector’s tradition, the owner of this pistol. One medal shows Victoria, the province ofSaskatchewan, which is stamped “TPr Harold Schofield. Gov Gen Bodyguard”. Along with Schutzen medal engraved November 31 1881, with Harold Scholefield”. Two American Trap Shooter Association Medals, also inscribed.10/10/83 medal inscribed Won By H. Scholefield. A silver pin that is pierced with “OGRC” initials.
