Smith & Wesson Victory model .38 caliber double action military revolver, serial number V31192 with letter of provenance stating that this Smith & Wesson with U.S. Navy markings was personally owned by Roy Rogers and Dale Evans and proudly displayed at their Museum until it closed in 2009, the letter is hand signed by Roy Rogers Junior and on Museum stationery. A museum display card reads “Only used once, In an attempted robbery of a steamroller driver! Robber would’ve been 40 years old his next birthday”.
