Smith & Wesson U.S. Army Model 1917 DA revolver, 5-screw frame, .455 cal., barrel cut to 4-1/2” with interesting over muzzle blued metal “sleeve” with ivory-like front ramp sight, blue finish, checkered wood medallion grips, lanyard ring and fore grip adapter, #113934. This is an interesting composite gun that has a cylinder numbered to this frame but the .455 cal. barrel is #59192 (and not the usual .45 cal. seen regularly on these Model 1917s). The gun is in overall good condition showing the majority of its factory finish on the frame and cylinder with an old re-blue on the barrel assembly, good bore, action and markings; grips are also good overall although slightly undersized. Est.: $250-$500.
