Smith & Wesson Second Model American single action frontier revolver in .44 S&W caliber with original blue finish and factory cut for a shoulder stock, serial number 28790. This revolver remains in good to very good condition with 10%to 20% original blue drifting to a pleasing brown patina with some scattered light to moderate erosion and surface pitting at the muzzle and a few firing areas. The barrel address is sharp and clear. The grips are good with some dings, marsand scratches with slight wear at the edges. There is some bright blue on the back of the recoil shield and where protected. The bore is good with some normal wear and the cylinder and latch show the same assembly number.
