Smith & Wesson No. 1 Second Issue Revolver, serial #39585, 22 short, 3 3/16" barrel with a very good bore. This little Smith remains in very nice condition with the barrel and cylinder retaining about 75% original blue finish which shows some light even flaking with those areas bearing a pleasing smooth brown patina. The frame retains 95% plus original silver plated finish which has taken on a nice blue tarnish. The two piece rosewood grips rate excellent with 95% original finish remaining. The hammer retains a good deal of original color case-hardened finish. A nice clean Smith in blue and silver.
