'Third Issue' Antique small frame tip-up spur trigger revolver chambered in .22 short, manufactured circa 1868-1881. Features a blued finish, 3-3/16" ribbed barrel, round nickel silver front sight, 'v' notch rear sight cut into the cylinder latch, fluted seven-shot cylinder, knurled spur trigger, knurled hammer spur, fixed ejector rod under the barrel, and two-piece smooth walnut bird's head grips. Revolver shows traces of bright bluing with the majority of the metal surfaces bearing a dark brown patina. Action is crisp with some play in the lock-up, the bore is good, markings are present and the wood grips are good+ with finish loss. Condition is NRA Good to Very Good. ***Antique Firearm***
