Smith & Wesson New Model Russian revolver in .44 caliber showing original nickel finish with wood grips, serial number 45760. The butt shows 1874 marking with star beneath the serial number and the lanyard and base have been removed. The barrel address shows the Russian model marking. Approximately 20% to 40% nickel finish remains with the balance drifting to a gray patina with some minor light cleaning. There are some scattered light to moderate pitting and erosionand a thumb size area of slightly heavier pitting on the right side of the barrel. The front of the cylinder shows a deep score or scratch all away around the cylinder. The barrel address is good and the grips are good with minor imperfections.The action is working but not locking tight and there are no visible numbers on the back of the cylinder.
