This pistol comes with a letter from the Logistics Division of the Indiana State Police, which identifies this pistol as having been used by the State Police for shooting matches and other competitive events. It was donated by the Indiana Ford Dealers Association in 1966, and is engraved as such on the left side of the barrel near the muzzle. Markings are otherwise standard, with Patridge front and adjustable rear sights, trigger stop, stippled front strap and checkered thumb rest grips.

Excellent, with 96% of the original blue finish, with some scattered handling marks and bright edges. Grips are very good, with gentle wear on the finish and a few pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
