Smith & Wesson Model 1 2nd Issue tip-up revolver, .22 cal., 3-1/4” barrel, blue and silver finish, rosewood grips, #13892 in overall fine condition showing the majority of its bright blue finish on the barrel assembly and considerable original blue on the cylinder which is very rare as any firing usually caused the loss of finish on the cylinder; majority of its silver plating on the brass frame, crisp action, sharp markings including the patent dates on the cylinder, very good to fine bore and fine grips; an exceptional example of this very early Smith & Wesson.
